Graduated
Licensing for New DriversThis course was developed by the Ministry
of Transportation and Communications for new drivers. The course concentrates on
attitude and skill development as the major means of ensuring safe driving
performance. Students are taught to become responsible drivers and the art of
strategic driving. The course consists of 25 hours of classroom education and 10
hours of in-car training. Upon completion of the course students obtain a
certificate enabling them to go for their G-2 licenses after 8 months, instead of
waiting the full 12 months. This certificate will also enable the student to obtain
an insurance discount where applicable.
Special in-car
instruction is also available for those qualifying for the final G-2 exit
road test.
